Business account-  feature request

 

                                 1. The recent notebooks be expanded to TEN versus the current THREE.

                                 2. Your list of  current notebooks be sorted by modification date option.

 

Correct me if wrong, but I do not see a way to change this currently.

In the Evernote Personal Edition clients, the recent notebooks count can be increased using the registry:

 

* Shut down Evernote (File / Exit)

* Go to key HKEY_CURRENT_USER|Software\Evernote\Evernote

* Look for DWORD value "RecentNotebooksCount" -- it should have a current value of 3.

* Change the value to 10 (beware the Hexadecimal/Decimal Base setting)

* Start up Evernote again

 

I'm guessing that this will work in the Business Edition as well.

Thank you for the reply. I followed your instructions and verified that it is changed in the registry. Unfortunately nothing has happened in the program.  Any other thoughts ?

Dunno -- it's worked for me in the past, with the Personal Edition, on a couple of separate Windows machines. I have it set to 8.

 

Oh wait... it may still be 3 because you haven't selected 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. notebooks after you made the change, perhaps? Try selecting other notebooks, and see if the list grows...

I tried same. I also rebooted machine. Signed in and out of Evernote, but nothing.    Windows 8.1 machine.
