Is there a way of reverting to the previous version of Evernote

The new version of Evernote has really annoying bugs with the use of italics and bold. It's also really laggy. Is there any way of reverting to the previous version? Thanks.

Hi.  OK;  the full process is -

  1. Exit Evernote
  2. Backup your database
  3. Download and install freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/ - http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/
  4. Open it, and drag Evernote to the window to uninstall all traces of it from your computer.
  5. Restart your computer
  6. Download and re-install Evernote from evernote.com/download - http://evernote.com/download

:excl:  This completely removes Evernote and ALL YOUR NOTES from the Mac.  If you have any Local Notebooks, or otherwise unsynced notes you must FIRST export them to ENEX files before you proceed.

After reinstall/ syncing the new EN version, you can import these notebooks/ notes back into your EN Mac database.

If you need any more information about any of that (and don't mind some delay ;)) let us know here.

Hi.  It is possible,  but a little involved - have you moved up to version 6.0.6?  If you give things a little time,  there's some reindexing to get through which might give you the 'laggy' effect.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have moved up to 6.0.6, yes. To be honest the lagginess is not the biggest issue for me, it's the fact that the italics and bold don't work properly, and this is sort of important for me.

So yes, if you could possibly explain how I could revert to the previous version I would really appreciate it! Thanks.
