How to mute notification sound when audio recording starts and stops?

I mute my phone (Galaxy Note 2) during meetings.  But whenever I record an audio clip, there will be a "doo" sound at the times of start and end recording.  How can I keep Evernote operation totally silent?

Don't know whether there's a setting in Android or Evernote to mute warning beeps,  but if you really need to keep recordings quiet,  have a look at other apps like Voice Recorder.  I've used that for recordings for a while - it runs completely silently and for as long as you have storage space to hold the file,  and (provided you don't exceed the size limit) you can attach that file to an EN note and play it on any device.
