k1mgy 1
In Evernote Windows (5.8.3.6507) windows 8, creating a note, keyboard shortcut for tab indent (a line) works. Shift-Tab does not remove the indent, but in fact simply adds a new one. When pressing the paragraph indent button, we get indents that remain when entering a new line. Going back still does not work using SHIFT-TAB. CTRL-SHIFT-M works fine in this mode. Looks to be a bug (and a basic test that was missing when the release released). Requested: TAB indents lineCVTL-TAB creates paragraph indentSHIFT-TAB backs off the indent in either mode. Link to comment
Level 5* jefito 5,588 Posted February 19, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted February 19, 2015 As best as I can tell: For bulleted and numbered lists: Tab indents one level, and Shift+Tab dedents one level. Ditto for Ctrl+M and Ctrl+Shift+M For normal and indented text, both Tab and Shift+Tab insert four spaces. Ctrl+M indents one level, and Ctrl+Shift+M dedents one level Some people want spaces rather than indentation, I guess; that's where Tab comes into play. If I want true indentation, I use Ctrl+M/Ctrl+Shift+M, which seem to work consistently in all cases Link to comment
