Peggy C 0
I am using Evernote (mac) to store (as attachments) important documents related to various projects. I am concerned that they might expire and disappear before I need to refer to them. Is there a time limit on attachments? Link to comment
Evernote Staff charboyd 272 Posted February 17, 2015 Evernote Staff Share Posted February 17, 2015 There are no time limits set to any of your Evernote content. Unless you manually change something, your attachments will remain untouched. Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,108 Posted February 17, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted February 17, 2015 There is no expiration of attachments nor Notes. They are there as long as Evernote continues to operate and you hold the account. Having said that, I would NOT rely on Evernote as my sole source for these attachments and Notes. Most recommend having your own backup, both locally and in other cloud-based systems like CrashPlan. Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,108 Posted July 20, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted July 20, 2015 @Susanne H: As the two posts just above yours stated, there is NO time limit. You may want to report what you are seeing as a bug. I recommend that everyone who experiences a bug to submit a bug report. This will make sure that Evernote is aware of the issue, provide your environment data to help identify/fix the issue, and put more pressure on Evernote to fix. Submit a BUG report via an EN Support Ticket. In the Support Form, select "Report a bug", and start the Ticket Title with "BUG: " to make it clear. Reporting a bug should be available to all users, including Free Account owners. Other Ticket types available to Free users are "Data Loss", "Crash", & "Sync Issue". Link to comment
