Frank Steiner 2
I was caught unaware by the recent scheduled maintenance (7th Feb 2015) and related downtime of Evernote. The error message one gets on any of the iOS apps, is too generic to work out what the issue is 'server unavailable'. Although I was informed that @EvernoteStatus post status updates this is only good after the fact and means I have to check. I keep getting frequent 'pop ups' about new features and functionalities on both apps. Why not use that as a channel to pre-actively communicate scheduled downtime? Maybe even push a 'reminder' note or calendar invite out to people, we can save that in the diary and job's done. Link to comment
