BillyBeee 0
I recently received an email request to share a particular notebook - BY NAME!!!!!!!!!! I do not know this person. I have never made a single note or notebook public - not even once. How has this happened? I am VERY ALARMED. Link to comment
Level 5* CalS 5,307 Posted February 9, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted February 9, 2015 I would submit a trouble ticket right away. What you are reporting is not supposed to happen. Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,118 Posted February 9, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted February 9, 2015 Have you shared the requested Notebook with anyone? If so, perhaps the person(s) you shared it with passed on the NB name to others. Link to comment
Ex Employees charboyd 272 Posted February 9, 2015 Ex Employees Share Posted February 9, 2015 Please share your support ticket number to better investigate this issue! You can create a support ticket at evernote.com/support Also, can you confirm whether they are requesting one of your personal notebooks or they are trying to share a notebook from their account with you? BillyBeee 0
To repeat: I have never knowingly shared my notebook with a single person - ever. And I just tried to submit a support ticket, at the suggestion of charboyd below. I fill out the info ... and it sends me back here to "ask the community". Talk about a circular reference! Level 5* gazumped 12,039 Posted February 17, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted February 17, 2015 Hi. Please retry the support ticket route. If you're a free user, only a few specific requests will get you past the 'ask the community' step - try reporting this as an account access issue (which it kind've is..) by choosing "login/account access issue" in the first dropdown after logging into this link > https://www.evernote.com/SupportLogin.action Then you can post the ticket number.
