Error: "Could not open Evernote Database"

When I bring up Evernote 5.8.1.6061 on Windows 7 Pro, I get an error saying "Could not open Evernote database... CANT_INSERT_ATTRS_TABLE." The message includes a file and path. The file is there where it is supposed to be. Of course, I can't tell if the file is corrupted. It worked a few days ago.

 

I rebooted, backed up my Evernote folder, uninstalled Evernote, got a fresh copy, reinstalled. I still get the error.

 

Please, can anyone help? I am lost without the data. Even if I have to abandon Evernote, is there any way to at least get the URLs associated with my notes back?

I found this in an AppLog file:

12:47:08 [9140] Commit failed: code=00000302, CANT_INSERT_ATTRS_TABLE, error: "Can't save uid=165, error: database disk image is malformed"
 

This is not encouraging. Is there a way to repair the database? Please?

Try ending proccess through Task Manager, and then try login again. It worked for me...
