RobbieG 0
HiI'm trying to export my S Memos from in my Samsung gs4 mini phone and import into Evernote. I tried to directly export them from s memo to Evernote but the resulting .snb files will not open in Evernote. Evernote support suggests exporting to a zip and then importing to Evernote. But I can only export them as .snb, pdf or jpg. Any ideas? ThanksRob Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 9,562 Posted January 22, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted January 22, 2015 Hi. PDF or JPG will work; PDF is better if you're a premium subscriber, JPG if you're not. Evernote will OCR and index JPG notes, but you need to be premium to get the same facility on PDFs. Link to comment
RobbieG 0
Thanks gazumped. I tested with 1 memo. It imports it as pdf, and I can't seem to edit it, which is the reason I'm importing in the first place. Is there any way to get around this? Cheers, Rob Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 9,562 Posted January 24, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted January 24, 2015 Premium subscribers can annotate PDF notes - https://evernote.com/contact/support/kb/#!/article/28944986 - but none of the export options that S Memo offers are editable as such. It is possible to convert PDFs into Word or other file types, but that requires use of other software, or websites for the process. Link to comment
