Turbs4life 1 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Im trying to forward two similar emails from my gmail acct to my EN account. Using a saved EN address that has worked and continues to work for other emails. Sent from gmail through Google chrome on both a windows and IOS (retried this am on my iPhone). I'm mystified. Any suggestions?
Level 5* CalS 5,311 Posted January 18, 2015 Level 5* Posted January 18, 2015 Any chance of anything in the emails that might trigger a spam filter? Can you send the emails to your own email account?
Turbs4life 1 Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 Maybe....they are travel itineraries and have a few files attached to them. I modified the subject. Quick question....are the spam filters on Evernote? Gmail? I will try sending to my work outlook to see what it does with it.
Level 5* CalS 5,311 Posted January 18, 2015 Level 5* Posted January 18, 2015 I don't know what spam filters EN uses. Spam filters tend to be at the destination, though sometimes massages can be held at the source. I just thought of them since it had been working for you. If the email makes it to your work account I would make sure the EN address is correct, that you aren't at your upload allowance, or if the attachments would create too large a note.
Turbs4life 1 Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 Thanks Cal, both notes made it through the work spam filters. Address is correct. I wasn't aware there was a note size limit - that may be it. I'll check it (do you happen so know the note size limit? I'm a newbie)
Turbs4life 1 Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 Update: emails are small, files attached are small. So that's not it. I'm stumped.
Level 5* CalS 5,311 Posted January 18, 2015 Level 5* Posted January 18, 2015 Same here. You aren't at your upload limit? Could they be in a different notebook? If you forwarded a different email now it makes it?
Level 5* CalS 5,311 Posted January 18, 2015 Level 5* Posted January 18, 2015 What's unique about the emails would be the question.
Turbs4life 1 Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 Cal, thanks again. Yes, not at my limit (I'm at a minute fraction of it). I'll look around, hadn't occurred to me that they went to a different notebook. I had it going to a travel notebook but maybe it was diverted. Regardless, you've given me some good thoughts - I need to look at the emails themselves to see what's unique about them. I'll post an update if I figure it out.....if there are any further ideas....let me know
Level 5* CalS 5,311 Posted January 18, 2015 Level 5* Posted January 18, 2015 Yeah, if you are using the @notebook feature if you misspell the notebook name the note ends up in your default notebook. Hope you find the issue.
