MarcWorkHub 0
When I scan a business card using Scannable, Evernote does not let me modify the note, except for the note's title. This is correct behaviour, as I need to:1) Correct ECRs (ex. simplify phone numbers)2) Add personal notes (ex. make a note as to why I have this person's business card)Thanks Link to comment
Ex Employees charboyd 272 Posted January 16, 2015 Ex Employees Share Posted January 16, 2015 If you save the scan to Evernote, you can add personal text inside the note created with your scan. You will not be able to alter the actual image though. Link to comment
MarcWorkHub 0
That is my problem. When I try to edit it inside of Evernote.com it says it is locked: Link to comment
aussiebob 35
Seems to be working for me on iOS.Are you using the Evernote web version/Android or Mac to try and edit? Link to comment
rreboto 0
I'm running into the same problem and it's confusing and frustrating. Here's what I've tried: - scan card on my iPhone using Scannable or with Evernote- i am able to add notes on the phone itself, but I'd like to edit notes on my Mac- on my mac there is an "Add Notes..." field, but typing notes here will disappear and are not saved when I leave the note- on evernote.com in a web browser the note shows a little lock and says it's not editable. Not having the ability to edit / add notes to scanned cards is unfortunate; hopefully it's just a bug that needs fixing. One workaround I found that was mentioned in another forum post is to merge a blank note with the scanned document and then it works, but that shouldn't be necessary. Thanks! Link to comment
