Editing a note which contains an image file

Let's say I create a new note and onto this note I initially place an image file.  If I wish to add text to the note I can do so only below the image file.  But I may wish to add text above the image file rather than below.  I can't seem to find a way to do this.  Of course if I place a small amount of text in the note prior to dragging in the image I can then go back and edit that text in any way I want thus accomplishing my purpose.  But if I forget to do that  .....................   Is there a way to put in text above the image after the fact?

Hi.  Create a separate note.  Merge notes.

Click to the right of the image, hit back arrow a couple of times, hit Enter and you should be able to enter text above the image.  Windows anyway.
