Image disappeared in front of my eyes and "undo" doesn't do anything

Any ideas? I was looking at a note with an image in it and the image disappeared (as if it had been deleted, but my hands weren't near the keyboard). I quickly hit command-z but got the irksome "bonk" noise signifying 'nothing to undo.'

 

Am I just SOL on this important photo I kept in the note?

?  Have you checked your note in any other client?  Best thing to do after 'undo' if bad things happen is to disconnect from the network so changes can't sync.  This may just have been a display glitch,  so (hopefully) you'll see your picture in another client.

It's gone on all other clients, too. Ugh.

If you need it back badly,  I think your only option is to go premium for a while and check out Note History and/ or use Support Chat to see what's possible.
