Poor scrolling performance in EN 6.0.5 (451190 Direct)

Idea

I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 on a MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) with Evernote 6.0.5 (451190 Direct).

There is extremely poor scrolling / graphical performance when using Evernote that I did not experience before.  It is particularly worse when scrolling using the Snippet View.  Card View is the only view that performs well, but I do not like that view.

I want to know if this is a known bug/issue with MBPr because on my Macbook Air, the issue is not nearly as terrible (it is also a 3 year old machine so I expect some sluggish performance but at this point my Macbook Air is outperforming my Macbook Pro for using Evernote).

Any help/thoughts would be appreciated, this is somewhat of a show-stopper for my daily use of Evernote.

Update:  Tried fixing the issue by fixing disk permission, resetting SMC and PRAM.  No changes.  Scrolling notes is definitely slower than it needs to be, and Snippet view is the most sluggish.  I've started the process of moving my notes out of Evernote.  I'm down to just about 100 notes remaining (Down from ~1000) and the issue persists.
