Last evening, I closed all my apps on my Macbook Pro and shut the laptop down. I restarted about 3 hours later. I didn't try to open Evernote until this morning, so did not notice it was no longer working. The Evernote icon in my dock is light grey with a white circle/slash (meaning 'not'; does this symbol have a name?). Tapping it brings up a window with this message: "You can’t open the application “Evernote 2” because it may be damaged or incomplete."
Is there is a way to deal with this other than to uninstall/reinstall? The app on my Android phone seems to be in working order so far.
