Ctrl+Shift+T for creating a new tag doesn't work in EV for desktop Win

When I press ctrl+shift+T a window for creating a new tag should pop up but it does not.

Also, even going to "File>New tag..." doesn't work either, no window pops up.

 

My specs:

Widnows 7 Ultimate

Evernote Win Desktop version (5.8.1.6061 (274061))

 

Anybody else with the same experience?

Don't know that I ever used ctrl+shift+T, but ctrl+alt+T brings up the add tag dialog.  New tags can be added there.  ctrl+alt+T is what appears on the Note - Tag menu as well, FWIW

Ctrl - shift - T does pop-up a 'new tag' window in my Evernote version (5.8.1.6061 public).  Maybe try an uninstall / reinstall?

Thanks, gazumped. I tried to re-install Evernote but sadly the new tag window doesn't pop up. Regardless of whether I use the hotkey or just click in the toolbar. Ctrl+alt+T has always worked for me though.

ctrl+shift+T does not work on my version (5.7.2.573 Public)

I've exceeded my annual limit of Evernote re-installs.

Rebooting my PC has recovered "lost" hot keys in the past.  Don't really know what software was in conflict, but a restart fixed it.  Might be worth a try.

Hmmm. Ctrl+Shift+T is in the Knowledge Base (https://evernote.com/contact/support/kb/#!/article/23168552), but I can't remember the last time I actually tried it. Ctrl+Alt+T can be used to create a new tag, though...
