Request to developers. Wildcard (asterisk symbol "*") in search terms. Need improvement in using ability of wildcard ("*")

Dear developers.

In this article https://dev.evernote.com/doc/articles/search_grammar.php# you say: "A wildcard is only permitted at the end of the term, not at the beginning or middle for scalability reasons on the service."

This is very bad limitation, for me and many other users.

Please. Need improvement in using ability of wildcard (asterisk symbol "*") at the beginning or middle of the search terms.

 

Search is very important thing for Evernote. And this improvement will increase capability of Evernote.

Scalability issues means that you'd be trading functionality for performance as your notes database grows larger, most likely. I think that's why they do things the way that they're doing them now, and will continue to do so.
