I noticed Dragon Dictate 4 for Mac is on special at TUAW and a friend at dinner last week was praising it.
I have hours of recordings saved as general mp3 from a digital recorder as well as many more recent ones in Evernote, mostly recorded with SoundEver on an iPhone.
Has anyone tried exporting such audio and running through DD?
I would hope to automate the export if possible, with AppleScript or more demanding programming if necessary.
Whilst I find manual transcription of recent recordings helps me remember context and think of additional nuance, I don't get that benefit from stuff more than a year old.
