Evernote for Mac is slow

Hello

 

I am finding Evernote for Mac slower and slower, I just don't get it.

 

I have a Mac and a PC side by side, the PC is synced up in a flash and on the Mac the wheel just turns for ages and ages, images display at the speed of snail. My ipad is faster. What is going down?

I recommend the following:

 

If you have not upgraded to version 6.0.5, please do so.

Restart your Mac.

I had already upgraded to v6.0.5.

Sync just keeps on turning ...

Any solution to the never ending sync and slow typing.

Is there any solution to this problem?  Evernote is nearly unusable on my MAC as the typing is so slow that it's painful.  I take quite a few notes in Evernote and this is a real inconvenience.

I suspect the slow sync combined with changes in Evernote 6.x to automatically sync edited notes (and not wait for the usual sync schedule) is causing the slow down in typing.
