Shortcut to open a notebook or tag

Hi all,

 

I can use "Ctrl + tab" / "tab" to move between the different panes, but once I've got a certain notebook or tag selected, how do I open that notebook or tag so that I can then see all the notes within it? That is, once I've got the right notebook selected, how do I "click" on it without having to use my mouse. I would have thought "enter" would do this, but no luck.
