No URL link when using webclipper

Im relatively new to Evernote and have just got latest version for Macs using safari. Ive got what I think is the Web Clipper up at the top of my menu bar (Elephant symbol', but when I try and create a new note to save a website it only takes a screen grab or allows for notes, but doesn't seem to save the URL link. I looked in the 'info' section and it is not there either.

Any help appreciated

Per your description you are using the quick note feature that is part of the desktop client and not the Web Clipper browser extension. 

 

You need to install the Web Clipper in your browser from www.evernote.com/webclipper.
