Problems with recording audio in Mac application?

I'm having a hard time getting audio recordings to work on the Mac application. I'm running the most recent App Store release. Also, I no longer see a microphone as an option - it's only an option in the drop-down menus.

 

Is the inability to record audio a known, current bug?

I have not tried any of the current versions.  However, try clicking in the 'body' of a Note.  The Note Menu should appear.  The "microphone" icon should appear in that menu. Click on that microphone icon and you should be good to go.

 

If the microphone icon does not appear, I do not know what to tell you.  I stopped using Evernote a few months ago.  I just come back here occasionally to see if the app has improved enough to return using it.
