TLMayhew 0
Hi all, I'm a fairly new Evernote user and I have downloaded the desktop tool both at home and at school. When I log into my account at school, the notebooks that I created at home are missing. Why is that? Can I not access my account from different locations? Thanks! Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,050 Posted December 10, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted December 10, 2014 Hi - You can access your account from any location on any (almost) device. Your notebooks at home first have to sync with Evernote's server, then down to your school device. Did you sync while at home? Have you synced the school device? Link to comment
zotje 12
Make sure the notebooks you create are not 'local notebooks'. They need to be synchronized notebooks to show up on all your devices. Link to comment
TLMayhew 0
Okay so I made sure all my notebook are synchronized notebooks. I'm pretty sure that I have synced my home computer pretty regularly - the notebooks are synced with my phone. They are not, however, synced to my iPad... any other ideas? Link to comment

If you are, close/open EN on the iPad and then see if the sync icon is twirling. There have been some issues reported re EN syncs on IOS, so you may have to do it a few times. Do the notes on the web match the notes on your phone and PC? Good practice is to sync whenever you leave/close a platform. Link to comment
