Notes look empty -- their content does not show

Hi All,

before I file a bug report I want to see if I am doing something stupid.  On the latest EverNote, on a MAC OS 10.10.1 Yosemite, my notes look empty.  Is it me or is it a bug?  Interestingly, if I take a screenshot the content of the note actually shows!

Sorry for the boilerplate but that (as they say) is a good question...

If you moved up to Evernote 6.x recently,  have a look at Evernote's KB article about the release and subsequent issues...

Most important tip about the latest version (6.0.3)  seems to be to reboot the device after the update and allow Evernote to reindex its database.

If you did NOT update,  then please confirm which version of Evernote you're using.

Note:  Switching from Evernote (App Store) to Evernote (Website Download) and vice versa can lead to 'lost notes'.  The two versions locate the database differently.  (Apple has special sandbox requirements for App Store apps).  If you do change from one site to the other,  export your local notebooks into Enex files before and re-import them after the switch  otherwise you'll lose any them.

Closing and restarting EverNote a couple of times did solve the problem, but 'a couple of times', which is odd -- I would have expected that closing once and restarting would have sorted the issue.
