Quietchu 0
I use Evernote Web Clipper to frequently save recipes I find online that I like. However, with one of the updates, the Simplified Article feature started dropping the numbers in front of text (for recipes this is especially problematic). As an example, if you go to http://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/chocolate-fudge-with-bourbon-sugar, the first part of the recipe states: Bourbon Sugar1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise1 cup demerara sugar2 tablespoons bourbonBut after clipping using Simplified Article, this becomes: bourbon sugarvanilla bean, split lengthwisedemerara sugartablespoons bourbonThis hasn't always functioned this way because I have older notes that have clipped the simplified article properly. Looking back in my notes, I have an article from 7/16/2014 that clipped properly and one from the next day, 7/17/2014, that dropped the numbers. I am currently using Evernote Web Clipper for Chrome (I haven't tested it in other browsers) version 6.2.6 (5e9ac9e/1.1.0.926) Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,111 Posted December 6, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted December 6, 2014 I can confirm this issue running Chrome on Mac Mavericks. Link to comment
lwu 0
I have also noticed this problem. I think It's associated with the formatting of the website to some extent. Not every recipe I clip has this problem, but a few sites consistently produce problematic recipes. It's very annoying. Also using latest version of Chrome on Windows 7. Link to comment
Quietchu 0
This is still an issue on version 6.3 (0e0702f/1.1.0.926) and seems to be (possibly anecdotally) occurring on more and more websites. I am also experiencing the issue on cookscountry.com and cooksillustrated.com (examples below): http://www.cooksillustrated.com/recipes/8039-grilled-fish-tacoshttp://www.cookscountry.com/recipes/2857-freezer-chicken-enchiladas Link to comment
