Where are Evernote Mac files stored under new version?

I've done a search on the forum, checked the Evernote Preferences, done a general Google search, and I'm drawing a blank.

 

They used to be under /Users/xxx/Library/Application Support/Evernote.  However, when I go there now, all I see under "Evernote" is a folder called "quick-note".  I regularly back up my entire Evernote database, where should I find it now?

1) You can select Evernote>About Evernote and press the option key to reveal a button to "Open Database Folder"

 

2) if you are using the direct download version (not the App Store version) you should find your database in

~/Library/Application Support/com.evernote.Evernote/Accounts/www.evernote.com

Is there a way to move the files.  My goal would be to put them in Icloud.

alternative: is there a way to dedicate where local files are stored.

Welcome to the forums!

Moving Evernote's database or the files within from their original location on the hard drive it is not currently supported. I'd recommend seeing if there is an existing feature request for this in the Product Feedback Thread here:

If you don't see an existing feature request for this, you can create one and have other users vote on it if they like the idea using the steps here:
