Update to 6.0 on OSX no longer shows note content

I updated via the App Store yesterday to 6.0 and I no longer see the content of my notes.  I can see all the note titles and even short description but when I open the actual note, the content is empty.  In fact, it looks like the entire content pane in missing!  I can't enter notes either.  Trying to enter a new note displays the same thing; this blank content panel.  

 

I've checked the web and all my notes are present and the synching seems to work fine; it's just a missing content pane.  Any ideas?

Same problem. All notes are visible but notes show nothing. Feels like a pre beta version ...
