ndd 1
I am using evernote for windows. Version - 5.6.4.4632 (272632) Public. Whenever i try to sync i get an exclamation mark on the sync button and it doesn't sync. The message on bottom right corner says - "Synchromization Failed" I tried to log out and then again log in. But did not work. I checked the folder "Conflicting Changes" but there are no entries here. Can someone help me & tell me where is the problem & how to solve it? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,405 Posted December 1, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted December 1, 2014 Evernote made some changes to improve security some while ago that may have affected you. Details here https://evernote.com/contact/support/kb/#!/article/101867943 (there were also emails)One important thing to do, whether or not you use Internet Explorer to browse; go toInternet Explorer > Settings > Internet Options > Advanced.scroll down to SecurityCheck "Use TLS 1.0 / 1.1 / 1.2". and UNcheck any SSL boxes. Then retry syncing.https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/71734-synchronization-failure-unable-to-connect-to-server/Poodle fix -https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/76311-cant-login-to-server/?p=323421 Link to comment
TonyEN 1
Hi, I'm having the same problem today, tried updating the TSL/SSL options in IE but it does not help in my case. Any other suggestions? ndd 1
Try rebooting the machine. It worked for me without a reboot. Unchecked the SSL options & checked the TSL options in IE properties. FYI - my OS is Windows 7. Link to comment
TonyEN 1
As I mentioned before changing the SSL/TSL options in IE didn't help, but the problem went away a few hours later without any change from my side, so it looked like EN Server side problem. Link to comment
