(Archived) Evernote note not recognizing 7 digit phone numbers

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but Evernote does not recognize a 7 digit (local) number as a phone number (i.e. 555-1212). It does however recognize 10 digit numbers as such (i.e. 205-555-1212). Can a 7 digit phone number be recognized as such?

I think this may be the behavior of the Android OS. For example, I tried emailing myself a message that contained both of these formats, and only the 10-digit number was clickable. I think this is an Android thing.

Other apps recognize 7-digit phone numbers.
