Can't Delete Notebooks

I just did a fresh install of 6.0.1 (direct download from the EN site) and am finding I can't delete any notebooks.  There were 2 default notebooks from the install, Evernote and Important Notes 1.  I then created a new sync'd notebook, which I made the default for syncing, and 2 local notebooks.  I can't change the name or delete any of them.

 

When I right click I don't get the option to Notebook Settings and Delete are greyed out so I can't select them.

 

Any ideas why this might be happening?

If you are in the Notebook view hover with your mouse over a notebook and select the gear-wheel icon. In the opening dialog you can change the name and set it as standard notebook.

It only lets you add Notebooks. There is something wrong with the new version.  I tried to download an old version of EN but could not because of data was only compatible with the new version.  Very frustrating.
