Collaboration on one single note is not possible

Hello,

 

Is it possible to collaborate on one single note without having to create a shared notebook?

It seems that the sharing options of one single note only allow you to publish (aka let other users view the note) but not collaborate on the note.

 

Can this be confirmed?

Why is this not possible?

 

My friend and myself are both premium users.

It's possible to share and collaborate on a note via the new chat feature.  It is also possible to send a copy of a note by email and receive comments the same way.  Sharing a note however does not have the depth of features connected with sharing a notebook because that's the way the app is currently configured.

For real-time sharing and real-time collaboration, I have switched over to Google Keep.
