(Archived) Revert to older version of note

I accidentally updated a note by clearing its contents (still not sure how I did that, but anyway) is there a way to revert to the previous version of it?

Before I realized its content was gone it had synchronized to the web as well as my other system.

If you had a local backup of your database on your Mac or PC, you could potentially recover the old note from there, but we don't keep old versions on the service for privacy reasons (if you ask to delete a note or a section of a note, we make sure to remove that from the service).
