Ian Daniel 10
For the last 3 weeks when I create a folder on the desktop or online, they don't sync. Notes are syncing as they should. Anyone else had such issues and have you managed to get a fix? Evernote support have released 2 updates since, but the problem remains. I am working with support but 3 weeks is a long time. I've hardly touched the program since out of fear of losing info. Thanks a lot Link to comment

Each note must reside in a notebook, so what notebook are they in? Link to comment
Ian Daniel 10
You're right, not the best explanation. And I broke the Folder vs. Notebook naming convention - doh! What works: - New notes created inside of existing notebooks or stacks sync OK. [Existing meaning pre-problem] - Renaming an existing notebook or stack pre-problem will sync OK. Doesn't work: - If I create a notebook in an existing stack created prior to the problem, it does not sync to server. And neither do new notes inside of this new notebook. - New notebooks and stacks created outside of existing stacks do not sync. Nor do new notes created inside of these notebooks and stacks. Ian Daniel 10
What a muppet! Apparently I've exceeded 250 notebooks and any created post this limit, were created as local instead of the default synchronized which I've always used without even a second's notice when creating them. Gutted it's only 250 though! Link to comment
Ian Daniel 10
But how do I now establish which folders are local? I don't see a settings cog on my desktop as recommended below. Any ideas? "Currently, the easiest and only way to do this is by:1) Clicking your Notebooks from the lefthand navigation2) Then click the Settings Cog3) You will now see if a radio button selected for if it is local or synchronized." What client are you using? On the Windows client, local, sync'd & shared notebooks were clearly identified by their color. Then I guess Evernote decided that made things too, too easy. So the version I'm using (and sticking with), right click the notebooks & select 'properties'. The dialog box will show if it's sync'd or local. Since I've not upgraded to the latest version, I don't know if this is still the case or not. I can't address the Mac client. Link to comment
Ian Daniel 10
Yeah Windows. Sad that I have to effectively check every individual notebook to know it's status? Also I'd like EN to display how many folders you have used and/or inform you when you get to 250. Link to comment
