how do i add new tags @ shared notebook?

When i try to add new tags @ shared notebooks, 

message saying 'you can only add note's original tag'

 

do i need to unlock 'share' to tag and then share again?

Please let us know what client(s) your using. i.e. Mac, Windows Desktop or Touch, IOS, Android, etc.

You cannot create new tags on notes in notebooks that are shared to you. That's a design decision. If you want to add a new tag, then you'll need to get the note's owner to create it for you.
