Business card scanner - Phone number recognition problem?

Hi,

 

I recently start using the card scanner from the Evernote app. I live in Quebec and my Evernote is setup in french. When I scan a card, the app decodes the phone number in an European standard instead of a Canadian standard.

 

Exemple: 1 456-878-6666 becomes something like 1 45 68 78 66 66 ? 

 

How can we fix that? Sure I can edit the result but it would be less annoying if the app could decodes it right the first time!

 

Is there a solution to my problem?
