How do you turn off search "relevance"?

Is there any way to disable this feature?

 

It works terribly for me and I'm used to finding notes I need based off date updated which used to be the default sort.

I'm having the same issue.

Got it!  Click on view option - the little box next to the number of notes found.  Then on "Sort by: date created". Then turn off relevance.

That worked to resort that search instance but every search still defaults to 'sort by relevance' there after - is there a way to change the default?
