RRF 0
I am using Evernote with MacBook Pro, iPhone and iPad. I have added different files to my notes (pdf, xlsx, ics, eml) by dragging and dropping. Although I can view/open them without any problem on my computer, I cannot open the ics (iCal) and eml (Mail) files on my iPhone. They are not recognized and each file has a question mark on it. Excel and PDF files open fine on iPhone, too. Any solution, please? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,656 Posted November 25, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted November 25, 2014 Mobile devices don't automatically have apps installed that can read the same sort of files as a desktop. An internet search should suggest some options of apps to read your files, or software that might convert the files to something readable on a mobile. Link to comment

Is this an Evernote issue or an Apple issue? With a .eml attachment, I do get an Mail option in the Share menu Link to comment
