@doyaling 0
Hi, I'm using Evernote application on Mac OS X Yosemite. After updating to Yosemite, "Save PDF to Evernote" function doesn't work well.I can use it by doing... 1) viewing a web page on Safari or Chrome2) command + P (and "Print using system dialog" on Chrome)3) "PDF" on the bottom left4) choose "Save PDF to Evernote" but, it goes very slowly. I wait for a minute or two until a new note appears with the PDF on Evernote application. Before updating OS X, I hadn't had such a problem.I'm not sure if this is a problem in OS X or in Evernote. Dose anyone have the same problem? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,692 Posted November 17, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted November 17, 2014 Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Chrome add-in, and make sure you have the latest version of Evernote installed (ideally from Evernote.com). Link to comment

Dose anyone have the same problem? I use the Chrome "Save as PDF" all the time, and it works well, but I'm still running Mavericks. Have you tried "Save as PDF" to a Mac folder instead of Evernote? Any change in performance? Link to comment
cxr341 1
I'm also having trouble with Save PDF to Evernote, though in my case it doesn't do anything at all. It's not program-related, it doesn't work anywhere. I used to move PDFs from Preview all the time using this technique, now nothing. Restarted, etc., no difference. Premium account. Any ideas? This is a critical function for my use of Evernote. Thanks! Link to comment
Chris Lee 7
This broke for me also when I upgraded to Yosemite. It had worked perfectly for years before that. What can I do to get it back? I have already re-installed Evernote. No change. Link to comment
Chris Lee 7
Never mind. Figured it out. Had to edit the Print to PDF menu and delete and re-add Evernote. Works now. Link to comment
cxr341 1
So I deleted it from the print menu, reinstalled Evernote, and nothing. Then I totally deleted Evernote first without touching the print menu, then reinstalled, and it's working again, but on a 60-90 second delay. It used to be instantaneous, giving immediate feedback the note was safe for subsequent closing of the tab or file. This at least is much better than no functionality, but hopefully it's still on the list to be repaired in the near future. Link to comment
