tinyweasel 0
I recently tried to use Evernote on Windows 8 for the first time, and found I cannot edit notes at all, as they were created with rich text elements. All it will let me do is add an annotation at the bottom. As it is a to do list that I'm trying to edit, this is pretty useless. Is there any way to fix this without having to copy and paste all my notes and create new ones with the Windows 8 app? Will that even work? Thanks for your help. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,378 Posted November 7, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted November 7, 2014 Is this the Touch or the Desktop version of Win 8? Editing notes isn't normally difficult - you could test out the "simplify formatting" or "remove formatting" options (on a test note!) if you have access to those options, or maybe try copying your note contents into a word processor and back into a new note to remove whatever formatting tweak is preventing more access... tinyweasel 0
It is Evernote Touch. I edited the note I was trying to edit with my phone, and now it suddenly works on the app. No idea why. Solved though! Link to comment
