rochigiani 0
Hi all, when I export all my Evernote notebooks to an .enex file and want another user to import these into his Evernote, will there be any user data visible? Meaning: does the new user see which account the data was connected to? Thanks, rochi Link to comment
Level 5 Adjusting 276 Posted October 31, 2014 Level 5 Share Posted October 31, 2014 The .enex file contains the author field, but shouldn’t have any other identifying information. You can go to note info and clear the author before exporting if you don’t want that visible. Link to comment

Level 5* jefito 5,586 Posted October 31, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted October 31, 2014 Shouldn't be anything to identify you. You should check before you do it, though, just to be sure. Good idea to go on a notebook-by-notebook basis, and notebook isn't preserves in .enex files. You'll also lose any tag hierarchy that you have; hopefully it's not a burden. Link to comment
