Attached file doesn't update

I updated an XLSX file attached to a note in a synchronized notebook. The file does not show the changed cells. I thought I would check here first before I submitted a help request. Has anyone else experienced this?  I'm running the latest version of Evernote for the Mac (10.6.2) with Mavericks (I haven't updated to Yosemite yet).

Unless this is the same topic I dealt with a very similar query earlier - a spreadsheet attached to a note had been updated, but the inline content displayed in the note had not changed.  If that wasn't you,  then we have two.  Please go ahead and report a bug!

Any chance there's a second version with a .1 or something appended?  Don't know how it works on Mac, but I have had some file names changed after modifying an an XLSX file.  But in my case the actual file name of the attachment was changed as well.  FWIW.
