Copy note link behaviour ?

alaing

Idea

When I right click a note and 'copy link' I can paste it in another note and the link will have the format "evernote:///..." so that you directly open the note. If you paste in another app you get an "http://..." format linking to web version.

I want to paste links to todo notes in a mindmap, this way I have a visual representation. iThoughts exist on Mac and iOS, if I copy the pasted link with "evernote://" in a mindmap it opens the note, even on iOS ! See attached file.

Any way to copy application links outside of evernote quickly ?

If you mean how to create the format "evernote:///..." for pasting into another app you can press the Alt key on the MAC while opening the context menu with a right mouse button down. The context menu entry then changes to something like "Copy traditional note link".

This is a great tip ! Thank you !
