ndw 0
I know that Evernote isn't performing traditional OCR, but how does itdecide what images to attempt to scan for words?Looking at the data I gathered from my backup program, I see that abunch of business cards that I sent to Evernote via email from myiPhone have all had attempted recognition, but business cards that Iuploaded from my flatbed scanner through the Evernote Mac applicationhave not had any attempt. The flatbed scanner does a better job than the iPhone, so I was hopingto scan a big stack of cards, but if I won't be able to find them withtext search, I'm not sure it's worth the effort.I also clipped an image from the web that's purely text and noscanning was attempted on it either. Is there anything I can do to request scanning of images I've uploadedif it doesn't happen automatically? ndw 0
That thread doesn't really answer my question. I've uploaded some PNG images and no attempt has been made to scan them. I have a free account, but I'm under my 40MB limit, I believe. Link to comment
