parkrode360 0
i'm running Windows Vista on a Toshiba laptop, and i've noticed for the past few weeks that Evernote synchronization has failed. Figured I'd try and fix it today, so i caught all the latest Windows Vista upgrades, uninstalled Evernote, rebooted and then re-installed Evernote. Still get the "can't connect to server" message, yet my Android phone, my Nexus pad and the web version of Evernote all work fine. I've cleared the cache on both IE (which is not my default browser), Google Chrome (which is) and Firefox (well, why not). Still nothing. Any suggestions? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,031 Posted October 26, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted October 26, 2014 Evernote made some changes to improve security that may affect you. Details here https://evernote.com/contact/support/kb/#!/article/101867943 (there were also emails) One important thing to do, whether or not you use Internet Explorer to browse; go toInternet Explorer > Settings > Internet Options > Advanced.scroll down to SecurityCheck "Use TLS 1.0 / 1.1 / 1.2". and UNcheck any SSL boxes. Then retry syncing.
