Hyperlink won't open

Hi everybody, 

 

I have (possibly a silly) technical issue: I can't open hyperlinks from my Evernote. Even when I right-click the options menu shows only "edit" and "remove" - no "open". From my MS Word I can open hyperlinks no problem. I don't know how to solve this problem and will be thankful for any advice.

Evernote for Windows? You should be able to just click on the link, and it will open in your default web browser.

Yeh, and that's how it worked before too. I've refreshed my computer recently and reinstalled a few things and since then it's just not working. Can the reason be that I installed everything the D-disk?

I wouldn't think that installing on your D: drive would affect it. Is it a link that you can copy and paste into your browser on your own?

Sure, I can copy & paste and open it in my browser... it's just that hyperlink is handier and I wonder why it shouldn't work.

Oh,it should work; the question was intended to find out if there was something wrong with the link you were using. Guess that that's not the case. I'd recommend that you report this as a bug.

I have had the same issue when Using Chrome as my default browser, however once I switch to using Internet Explorer the problem went away.  

 

This isn't an ideal solution (as Chrome is by far my preference for browser), is there any potential resolution to this?
