Revert back to the old version

HI All,

I have been using the Evernote free version for quit long time in  google chrome browser. Unfortunately today I opted for the web beta version which has became a real headache for me specially the absence of the "merge" note options. I desperately want to get back the older version. Can anybody Please help in this regard?

Ya I checked before posting this. Actually there is a problem with the "Chrome" browser I think. There is no "settings" button on the bottom left corner as suggested by some members as a solution for reverting back to the older version of EN. Nonetheless I solved the problem using the "firefox" browser. Now its all right. Thanks for your reply.

How about you try and be helpful instead of snarky, Moderator? Honestly.

Illusioist, look for the gear in the lower-left of your screen. Click that to go to your settings. You'll probably land in your Account Settings section - if not, click on "Account Summary" in the left-hand navbar. About halfway down the page, you'll see the option to revert back to the original version from Beta.

In Chrome on Win 7, I can certainly see the Settings item at the lower left-hand side of the screen (there is a gear icon, and it's helpfully labelled "SETTINGS" ). Not sure where it may have gone to in your case.

FYI: I've had things "disappear" more than once using the web beta in Chrome on Windows 7.  Once I had the entire UI disappear except the text entry field - no UI controls, nothing.  I had to refresh the page to get them back and that took me to the main view, not to the entry view.  Fortunately, it had retained my long text entry.

I have to express my sentiments to BnF's remark. The second, pinned note in the Web Beta forum explains how to opt out of the Web Beta. READING HELPS!

It's also entirely inappropriate to make assumptions or judgements about how others choose to spend their time. On to the topic at hand, indeed, click the gear at the bottom left of your Evernote Web interface to access your account settings (this gear may or may not be also labelled "settings"). From here you can opt out of the Web Beta from the first settings screen that is displayed.
