bwwhite 1
I have set up a folder to import into Evernote. The folder contains text files. I made a change to one of the text files and Evernote imported it as a new note. Is there any way around this? Thanks! Bruce Link to comment

So you can take the file out of the import folder to edit it, or edit the note within EN. There is an option to delete files after they are imported in Tools - Import Folders, but that doesn't seem to apply here. Link to comment

Import folders have no memory of prior imports (including imports of the same file); it's just a simple Windows trigger that says "hey, there's something new in here", to which Evernote's reply is "gimme".
