hot key registration error & slooow editing response time

I'm using Evernote Version: 5.5.3.4236 (272236) public

1) GOT THE FOLLOWING ERROR:
   Cannot register the following hotkeys that are already used by other programs!
   To solve this conflict, try other hotkeys in the Settings.(See Help for more info)
   Alt+PrtSc --> "Capture Window] Object"
   Ctrl+PrtSc --> "Capture Rectangle Region"
   PrtSc --> "Capture Full Screen"
   Ctrl+Alt+PrtSc --> "Capture Scrolling Window"

 

2) RECENTLY I NOTICED THIS VERSION'S RESPONSE TIMR GOT SLOWER.  
   Progam comes up fast, but it takes 10-15 sec before notes appear.  
   And moving & editing within a note, takes several sec for the cursor to "catch up"

Please help & advise.

Concerning #1, Evernote tries to assign several global (available outside of the program) hot keys.  The error message is telling you that those hot keys have already been assigned by another program.  Go to Tools -> Options -> Hot keys tab and you can select different key combinations for the options provided.

 

Concerning #2, I don't know what version you have upgraded from but there is a lot of discussion on the forum about response time.  Google Evernote slow response and there will be plenty to read.

Will check out Google, probably a lost cause, at least for now, as many are haveing the same problem.
