(Archived) BUG: Cut Paste into GMail loses newlines

Using Evernote 1.5.0 for Mac OS X

Copying a text note from Evernote into GMail's compose/reply form in GMail's TEXT MODE loses all newlines. Pasting into GMail's Rich Text editor works fine.

I am assuming the note in Evernote is text-only and not rich text as it is editable on my iPhone which does not support rich text.

Thanks for the report. I've filed a bug report about our handling of text from plain text edit boxes on the web.

This is a problem again, not sure if it's a change to evernote or gmail. I don't think it was a problem a few months ago. Looks like there's no difference between the plain text and rich text gmail modes.
