Can be imported also Word, Excel? Can we use Evernote as storage files inside folders or better DropBox? Need help. Link to comment

You need to open the file with an application - like Word or Excel - and make your comments or changes there. JPG and PDF files are a possible exception - Evernote will allow you to annotate the image or document from within the note, but that annotation may not show when you open the file in a different application. Using Evernote just as a file store is not a good idea - the database size is increased by the file content, so no disk space is saved; and unless you need the content of that file to be searchable, it's a waste of Evernote's indexing and search functions.
